Thunda Cookie isn't just a business; it's a passion project born from my deepest self and the invaluable lessons I've learned throughout my life. My joy in graphic design and my love for creating delicious cookies in the kitchen truly speak to the creative side of my heart.

Thunda Cookie is profoundly inspired by two people I cherish very deeply:

My Mother: She retired as a pastry chef from the Hilton Hotel and also hustled cakes on the weekends, creating beautiful treats for weddings and other special occasions, all to ensure my sister and I had everything we needed growing up. She'd have me help with simple but formative tasks like drawing characters for her to trace with icing, assisting with deliveries, and cracking eggs. She instilled in me that essential "head down and get to work" ethic that drives me every day.

My Incredible Wife: She is truly the soul of our family, always prioritizing togetherness and warmth. The true inspiration for the Thunda Cookie brand message came from those special moments we shared with her and our kids. She would often turn to me and whisper, "Jose, this is a sweet spot." That simple phrase would melt my heart because it was a tender reminder that being present and enjoying the moment you're in is such a blessing. She is my Heart.
